Uchouten – Still Echo: Part 01 [Translated by Frost]

>>Direct Download<<

Frost:
“I actually started this trilogy quite some time ago…maybe something like a year before it was finished. For most of that time, it stayed stuck at the first page. Then, around February of this year, I started working on it again. I got a sudden stir of inspiration, and it was all finished in time for UchoFan1’s birthday this year. Fun fact: This is the only work I’ve ever done (or seriously considered doing) with multiple chapters. Please look forward to reading chapter 2 tomorrow.”

Even though the authors drawing style is sometimes a bit messy, the work still shines in a bright light of beauty. The metatheatralic elements during the chase of the main protagonist letted beat my heart strong and intensive. Even though the first chapter doesn’t contain that much humour doesn’t change the fact that it is a brilliant work focused on the innocent love of two brothers, who, misunderstood by the society, seem to have been forced to run away in order to maintain themselves in their own real existence. A true masterpiece and absolutely worth reading! Thank you for translating Frost-kun, you truly have an excellent taste!

    Your,

    Kaname

P.S. As mentioned above some parts of the work are a bit messy. If I may I’d like to ask a few questions to make it a bit clearer for me.
    1) In jpg 4 the main protagonist finds some kind of way…But where is he actually? Why is he holding a rope? Is he climbing up or down?
    2) I might be wrong but isn’t “Kairi” a girls name? Just out of interest :) I know some Germans are named Maria as well…is there something similar in Japan?

Well thanks again and good luck with future works! :)

Once again I have to sing for the love of a good Uchouten doujin, sooo little of it is translated and it’s just so perfect.

I’m hoping he does a little stuff with Rolo Lamperouge and maybe somethin’ with Ritsuka… (or maybe some mind control/hypnosis stuff) all the same, drool. I came buckets to the Spitfire doujin Neko-kun translated.

I haven’t done any of their Spitfire doujins….
Do you mean this one? http://www.nekoshota.com/blog/?p=3073

‘Cos that’s the only Uchoten translation I’ve released so far ^^

Thanks once again, Frost, for taking the time to translate this little diddy that can truly be called a shota masterpiece! This work was so great on a number of levels and the fact you shared this on my birthday…I can never really pay you back for that wonderful gift. So, I’ll just say love you and your work…but, you already knew all that ^_^
